It has an unusual top notes from the ionic exchange from the clay pots used in this particular distillation and that famous creamy Notes. It comes from the pristine forest of northern Burma, super old trees. This is a conflict area and little oil of this quality is ever exported.
our Burmese sandalwood is somewhat a thing of the past. Distilled from an almost forgotten ancient technique using terra-cotta clay vessel, this sandalwood carries notes somewhat similar to Mitti Sandal, the ionic reaction with the clay really imparts an effect to this incredible quality sandalwood.
